Mera

Mera is a figure from the Aquaman/DC Comics. She is Arthur’s partner-in-crime in the movie with the same title and also plays a role in the Justice League adaption.

This is the only cosplay on my homepage that was not made by myself. In fact, it was rather cheap and I would not have been able to paint fabric for a swimsuit, so I decided to buy it.

However, the small crown was made by me out of 2mm and 5mm EVA foam. I primed and painted it in black and gold before using some varnish to seal the surface.

The photos were taken by CosplayAdmiral, who is a cosplayer himself. Have a look at his Instagram. We photographed in a small lake that was rather cold. Fortunately, the deep mud on the ground was warm… which felt a little bit weird to be honest.
