As hinted at in the making-of for a long time, I built a Thor cosplay for my partner. This happened in two phases: For the first science fiction convention in Speyer, I initially created arm and leg guards, as well as a hammer and loincloth. Only in the second year did I add the chestplate. The cape was also revised during this process. The patterns, as always, were designed by me, after which I crafted the armor pieces from various thicknesses of foam and foam clay. After applying several layers of sealant, I proceeded with painting and a final clear coat. The cape was carefully draped and attached to a separate shoulder piece for better storage. I had the opportunity to photograph it in a proper studio as part of a project, which was an interesting experience for me as a photography novice.
